Plant a pinwheel for #ChildAbuseAwareness Month
Did you know-- April is Child Abuse Prevention Month?
The mission of MOCN is to prevent child abuse and neglect by providing free emergency childcare to families in crisis situations.
Needless to say, April has always held a special place in our hearts here at the Nursery.
Every year, the staff and kids at the Nursery plant a pinwheel garden here to bring awareness to child abuse prevention. We are kicking off Child Abuse Prevention month by beginning to plant our garden today!
This year, the Crisis Nursery will “grow” our garden all month by adding pinwheels for each $10 donation made now through the end of April. Please recognize a parent, sibling, teacher, coach or anyone who helped you have a happy childhood.
